Overnight oats!

Hi Guys,

So in this blog I am going to be doing another recipe, however this time for brekkie! For me breakfast is the worst meal of the day and I hate waking up to eating such a bland meal! Skipping out on it is not an option as it is the most important meal of the day: feeding yourself after a 10 hour period is essential. My norm of Weet-bix everyday was not cutting it for me, so I set out to find a new yummy, healthy option that was quick and ready for me on the go. Overnight oats is the perfect solution because it is SUPER filling, super yummy and is easy to make!

What you'll need

Ingredients (feeds 1 person)

1/3 cup of rolled oats

1 Tbsp. of chia seeds (optional)

1/3 cup of milk

1/3 cup of yogurt

Handful of fruit

Sprinkle of flaked almonds (optional)

Equipment

Measuring cup

Spoon

Jar/cup, to eat out of

Fridge

1. Measure out 1/3 of oats and pour into jar.

2. Place 1 Tbsp. of chia seeds in jar and mix in with the oats.

3. Measure out 1/3 of milk and pour into oat mixture.

4. Measure out 1/3 of (vanilla) yogurt and place on top of the oats.

5. Place fruit, nuts and if you want a sprinkle of granola on top.

6. Place in fridge overnight, ready for you in the morning!
