Hey peeps
So now that spring has sprung, and the weather is getting warmer I thought that it might be cool to share my fave lemonade recipe with you! Since I have a GIANT lemon tree at home my brother and I began to experiment with different lemon drinks, this recipe is by far the best!
Ingredients:
6 large lemons (ish)
75g of white sugar
2 cups of soda water
sprig of mint (optional)
Equipment:
lemon squeezer
cutting board
knife
mixing bowl
wooden spoon
measuring cup
funnel
bottle (to put lemonade in)
Method
1. Grab your cutting board and cut all your lemons in half, while you're at it try and take out all the seeds that you can see and chuck them out.

2. Give the halves a little squeeze with your hands before putting them onto the lemon squeezer, this just makes sure that you don't spray lemon juice everywhere! Once squeezed put them on the lemon squeezer and give them a good juice!

3. Once you have juiced all of your lemons, collect the juice and put it into your mixing bowl if you have not already.
4. Next you want to measure out 75g of white sugar and slowly pour into the bowl. As you add the sugar make sure that you are stirring with a wooden spoon. You may want to add less or more sugar depending on how sour your lemons are and how sour you want your drink to be. Stir until sugar is dissolved.

5. After you have mixed your sugar and lemon juice together grab your fizzed water and measure out one cup (I used 'Soda Stream', however you can just use a bottled fizzed water from the shops.) When you are pouring in the water make sure that you are pouring it in slowly, as you don’t want to get rid of the fizziness.
After adding in the first cup take a quick taste and if needed add in another cup (or more).

6. Use a funnel to add the lemonade into a bottle. Once all is in the bottle you can add a little sprig of mint to give it more of a fresh and zingy taste!
7. Enjoy!
Hope you guys enjoyed this recipe and will be posting next Friday!
